Why two patients with the same cancer need different treatment

Two people can share a diagnosis, a stage and a plan — and have completely different disease. What separates them is what the tumour is made of.

Our approach

How your cancer treatment plan is decided

Cancer treatment here is tailored after assessing your cancer type, stage, previous treatment response and side effects — reviewed by a multidisciplinary oncology team at every step, from diagnosis through cancer surgery to follow-up.

01

Reports reviewed

Your biopsy, imaging, histopathology and receptor status are read by an oncologist before you arrive — not during the appointment. Send them ahead and the consultation is spent on decisions about your cancer treatment, not on background.

02

Molecular and genomic profiling

EGFR, ALK, HER2, MSI, RAS, BRCA and PD-L1 where relevant. Which markers matter depends entirely on your cancer type and stage, and they decide whether targeted therapy or immunotherapy belongs in the plan at all.

03

Multidisciplinary tumour board

Surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology and onco-nutrition review your case together and agree one plan — before any cancer surgery or systemic treatment is advised.

04

Cancer surgery and treatment begins

Robotic or open cancer surgery, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, chemotherapy or radiation therapy — sequenced in the order your case needs, delivered at our Gurugram cancer centre.

05

Nutrition, recovery and follow-up

Onco-nutrition runs alongside cancer treatment rather than after it. Side-effect management, recovery and surveillance follow-up are built into the same plan by the same team.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What makes cancer treatment at Everhope different?

Every case is reviewed by a full tumour board — surgical, medical, radiation and nutrition oncology — before treatment is advised, and genomic profiling is done before the plan is written rather than after a first line fails.

How does genomic profiling change my cancer treatment?

It identifies what is driving your tumour, so treatment is aimed rather than maximal. In some cancers it changes whether chemotherapy is needed at all.

Is robotic cancer surgery available in Gurgaon?

Yes. Robotic and laparoscopic cancer surgery is performed at our Gurugram centre, aimed at removing less tissue and shortening recovery. Open cancer surgery is used where it is the better option for the tumour.

Do you accept cashless insurance and EMI?

Yes. Our insurance desk files and follows up on approvals for you, and no-cost EMI is available on treatment packages. Your cover is confirmed in writing before treatment begins.

Can I get a second opinion on my current plan?

Yes, including partway through treatment elsewhere. Send your reports and our oncologists review them within 48 hours, with no obligation to move your care.

What does cancer treatment cost at Everhope?

You receive written costs before care starts. Our day-care model avoids hospital-grade overheads, which typically brings treatment cost down by up to 30%.
